Challenge 2010

THEME: The BAG Inspiration

We all have seen a gift bag or shopping bag that has really inspired us, now is the time to do something
about it and make a quilt based on that shopping or gift bag.

FABRIC: This is your choice. There is no challenge fabric. This means you can use just about any fabric you are
inspired by.

RULES:
1. You must be inspired by a shopping bag (Giant, CVS, etc.) or a gift bag (Happy Birthday, Get Well, etc.)
2. You must bring the bag with you to be shown with the quilt.
3. This challenge must be a quilt. It can be up to 48” per side and cannot exceed 192” for the perimeter.
4. There has to be some obvious piecing in the quilt. Applique, of course, will make it even
more special, but is not necessary.
5. The quilt can be any shape within the required measurements.
6. The quilt must be quilted by hand or machine, NOT tied.
