Courthouse Quilters
We were established in 1988 and dedicated to the preservation of our quilting heritage through education. We have over 100 members from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our level of experience ranges from beginners to national contest winners. We are interested in quilt history as well as quilting techniques and design.


Monthly Meetings
Afternoon Workshops
We hold workshops with nationally known speakers as well as with our very talented guild members. We are fortunate to have guest speakers and members present the latest techniques of the quilting community. These workshops are offered at a nominal fee.

Evening Program
At our evening program we review the business of the guild. Members have access to a substantial lending library, enjoy delicious refreshments, and view members' works during the popular Show and Tell. The speaker from the afternoon workshop completes the evening with an enjoyable and informative lecture, often accompanied by a trunk show of her work.


Quilt Challenges
We hold an annual challenge where a chosen theme determines the quilt's characteristics. The quilts are presented at a spring meeting in conjuction with the guild's anniversary.


Charity Quilts
We have an on-going project of constructing and distributing quilts to individuals and families in need. Our outreach program is two-fold. Some quilts are donated directly to individuals or families. Other quilts are donated to provide fund raising opportunities for charities such as Hospice and The Women’s Crisis Center.

Biennial Quilt show
Our wonderful show is held the 1st weekend in October, every other even year. At our 2006 show we hung over 200 quilts, which were viewed by more than 1200 people. This popular show includes quilting demonstrations, vendors, food, and an auction of miniature quilts.

Directions
The Darcy Lodge is located on Route 513 North and is 3/4 of a mile from The National Hotel in Frenchtown New Jersey.
From Flemington
Take Route 12 West to the flashing red light at The National Hotel. Turn right onto Route 513 North and drive up the hill 3/4 of a mile. The Darcy Lodge is on the left.
From Clinton
Take Route I-78 to Exit 15. Turn left onto Route 513 South an drive for 8 miles. Stay on Route 513 South. The Darcy Lodge is on the right.
