2012 Challenge
"Celebrating the 10th CHQ show at the Prallsville Mills"
Please consider making a quilt to help celebrate our 10th Quilt Show at the Prallsville Mills! The quilts will be exhibited as a special display at the 2012 Quilt Show. Although there are a few basic rules, feel free to let your imagination run wild and have fun!
Challenge Rules:
- The quilt must contain “10” of something to honor our 10th Quilt Show at the Mills in 2012. For example: 10 flowers, 10 blocks, 10 shapes, 10 fabrics, 10 buttons etc.
- The quilt must contain a touch of the colors “Red and Tan” to represent the Mills. The colors may be found on either the fabrics or any embellishments used. However, there should be enough of each color to be easily recognizable.
- The quilt must be between 30” and 60” in width and 30” and 60” in length. It does not have to be square.
- The quilt should be original, not from a pattern.
- The quilt must be completely made by the submitter (i.e stitched and quilted by the same person.)
- The quilt must be a single unit and may not be framed with wood or metal.
- The quilt should have a hanging sleeve.
- The quilt must be finished. Yes… finished!
Deadline and Judging: March 2012 CHQ Guild Meeting (March 11, 2012)
